In the beginning of the 1990s, Van de Bunt set a new trend with a change management approach to the themes of diversity and integration.

In the Netherlands, Van de Bunt plays an important role in the areas of diversity policy, diversity management and integration. Since the 1990s, Van de Bunt has developed and implemented new knowledge and insights in this area for businesses, authorities, non-profit organisations and public-private initiatives. Besides consultancy engagements in this area, Van de Bunt also performs engagements concerning research, training, coaching, interim management and mediation.

Van de Bunt has extensive experience in the field of HR management from the perspective of diversity. For instance, in cooperation with FunktieMediair, Van de Bunt has developed a unique assessment instrument that measures the intercultural competencies of existing and potential employees. Van de Bunt pays special attention to the relational side of diversity. We do this by applying, among other techniques, the Socratic dialogue as a discussion and peer session technique.
